Dynamic Place Holder

Dynamic place holders give users the ability to configure slicer-driven dynamic text within Present and Publish.

To use dynamic place holders in Publish, follow the steps listed here.

When dynamic place holders have been added to a publication, you will not see them on the page. You must save and schedule your publication to complete configuration of the place holder behavior.

 

As when configuring slicers for publications, you must define place holder behavior from the Selections window in the Schedule panel.

Choose Basic to schedule a publication that will be filtered according to a single element for each slicer.

Select Multiple to schedule a report that will be generated multiple copies, each with different filtering options applied.
